Wicknell Chivayo Upgrades Gift for Coach Rambo to Toyota Fortuner Plus Cash
Businessman Wicknell Chivayo has gifted popular coach and influencer Godfrey “Rambo” Matsika a brand-new Toyota Fortuner GD6 2.4D, along with US$5,000 for fuel.
Chivayo announced the upgrade this week, saying the new vehicle replaces an earlier gift that drew wide attention online.
The Fortuner is one of Toyota’s top-selling SUVs in Zimbabwe, known for durability and off-road capability, with the 2.4D GD6 engine favored by many motorists.
The businessman said the additional US$5,000 is meant to cover fuel costs so Matsika can use the vehicle without immediate expenses.
The move follows viral social media posts after Chivayo’s first donation to the coach, which sparked debate about celebrity philanthropy in Zimbabwe.
Coach Rambo has gained a large following for his motivational content and fitness work.
He has not yet commented publicly on the upgraded gift.
Chivayo is known for high-profile donations of vehicles, cash, and houses to entertainers, sports figures, and ordinary citizens.
